Why did i create these maps?
We all love visiting gardens, however with all the various society memberships I have, I find it a little cumbersome trying to figure out whether I can use my RHS partner garden membership, Gardener’s World magazine 241, National Trust membership, Historic Houses membership, etc etc. On top of that, even if you’re using your RHS membership, some gardens allow entry anytime, whereas others offer entry only during restricted times. Ordinarily you have to either read through the handbooks, or go to every website and click through to the information to figure it out. So I decided to create some maps for myself to make my life easier, and I’ve made the maps available to you to use too. If you have a mobile phone or a tablet, these maps will integrate automatically with your device via the save button.
BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine 2-for-1 Gardens entry – This map shows you easily which gardens have 2-for-1 entry.
SINGLES
If you are a single visitor, then here is a separate link if you just want to see the BBC GW gardens that offer single person discounts
Dogs allowed – This map shows you the gardens that allow entry with dogs (most request they are on a short lead).
RHS Partner Gardens membership grants you free access to approx 220 gardens around the world. Some have restricted access on certains days, others allow access at anytime. These 2 maps shows you easily all the places which gardens can be visited.
–
The purple dots map shows gardens that will allow you free ENTRY ANYTIME.
–
The brown dot map is RESTRICTED ENTRY gardens.
Plant Fair – This map shows you where you can find specialist plant fairs and with dates.
Historic Houses Association – Map of 140+ houses that have a garden with free entry for HHA members. If you are a Tender Shoots member we also have a discount code that you can use when purchasing HHA membership (available in the private members area). To join the HHA using our discount code, visit this link below and don’t forget to also use the ‘refer a friend’, after you’ve entered your name and address, it will ask you who referred you, so you can say Indy did, they need name and membership number, Indy Rana 500628139 historichouses.org/join/
