The minimum information required is speaker name and email address (and your details which will help to credit your club). Then testimonial or constructive feedback is optional, however the more testimonial and constructive feedback you can provide, the more credit this will generate for your club. (Your submissions do not automatically create an account for the speaker, the speaker will still need to register themselves and add their own information, but you will have contributed their name and email to the list.)
Even if a speaker is already registered on our list, you can still add your own testimonial or constructive feedback, so each speaker might have several testimonials from different clubs. Your name, email and clubs name will not appear on the speakers list (it’s just so we know which club to credit), but if you’re happy to put your name or clubs name in the testimonial box then please feel free.
If the speaker is NOT yet on our list and you wish to recommend them, then once you’ve submitted this form to us, please ensure you also contact each of the speakers directly yourselves to invite them to register on the Tender Shoots website for our speaker list & short notice booking service. On the speakers registration form, we will ask the speaker which garden club recommended them, so please do mention this to them so you can be credited (the drafted email above has a sentence to explain this).
We will then periodically follow up on email to the speaker (on your behalf) to ensure they have registered, this will save you from chasing the speakers yourselves.
You can submit this form as often as you like. Ideally you would add all your speakers the first time in one go, and then each month when you have a speaker you can submit a new form again with new details and/or a testimonial/feedback.
The form shows just one box for one speaker, so to add more than one speaker, just press the + button (it’s a little black plus circle) on the right hand side of the ‘Constructive feedback’ box. This will then open another box, repeat for more.
